Cypress Creek Country Club first opened for play in 1963. Robert von Hagge designed the course. This was his first-ever course design.
Cypress Creek Country Club is a traditional Florida golf course with wide fairways and beautiful southern terrain. Although open to the public, Cypress Creek Golf Course is bordered by a lovely gated and guarded community of established homes. This popular course that has wide-open fairways and slightly undulating greens. There are creeks and ponds that come into play several times. It's appeal is perfect for the casual player, yet is still very challenging to the low handicap golfer.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,531 yards. From the forward tees the course plays to 4,773 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 533 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 137 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, the 537 yard par-5 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 11, the 137 yard par-3.
